Pitched at SSD22, Liberation Diaries is selected for the East Doc Forum 2023!
Running from 24-30 March, the East Doc Platform has announced its full programme. Liberation Diaries, directed by Matteo Parisini (Italy/Germany/France) - special prize - institute of documentary film at sunny side of the doc 2022, is on the shortlist.
Logline: End of WWII, three women from three cities — Milan, Paris and Berlin — give us their account of Europe’s turbulent liberation in their diaries. Their personal stories expand the big historical picture and make LIBERATION DIARIES a story of female self-empowerment, resistance, and resilience.
