our actions

transportation

Sunny Side of the Doc encourages international participants to come from Paris by train rather than take a connecting flight to nearby airports. For transportation in La Rochelle, Sunny Side of the Doc rents about 100 bikes from the city bike sharing system and lets participants use them for free.

Participants can also go back and forth from the venue to the city center for free by using a solar-propelled ferry. Since the train station is in the heart of La Rochelle and close to most hotels and the venue, we encourage walking and do not normally provide any shuttle, except in specific circumstances.

100% of the official Sunny Side of the Doc vehicle fleet will be electric or hybrid cars.
