Building an ecosystem for Narrative XR projects in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. VR Work in Progress presentation: “Library of Dreams” The Library of Dreams is an immersive documentary project based on the research of dreams during periods of state repression and wars in the Third Reich, USSR, and modern Russia, where dreams overcome censorship and report pain. By collecting and recreating dreams we create an alternative universe, a universe of authentic feelings. Library of Dreams is a Work in Progress XR project developed by Jane Rzheznikova, a multidisciplinary artist based in Moscow & Paris. The project kicked off the development during an Educational initiative led by Less Media Group and the French Institute to educate and connect artists from Eastern Europe and Central Asia to narrative XR development.
