For several years, Society+ and Sunny Side of the Doc have been committed to supporting emerging filmmakers and amplifying new voices in documentary filmmaking.
This year's Jeunes Réals Society+ First Prize goes to Panne En Campagne. This documentary follows Le Havre est à Vous, a citizen collective that ran in the 2026 municipal elections in Le Havre. To campaign, its members transformed a British double-decker bus into a traveling headquarters — an idea as bold as it was unconventional.
Written and directed by Lily Petiteau-Normand, Rosalie Chassaing and Siméon Brand Del Pozo, the film stands out for its unique voice, warmth, and ability to reveal the extraordinary in everyday life. Society+ and Sunny Side of the Doc have long emphasized their commitment to supporting emerging filmmakers and amplifying new voices.
This first prize celebrates a film that embodies Society+'s three pillars: Humanity, History, and Humor.
The winners received:
A €1,000 cash prize
Distribution on the Society+ streaming platform and a feature in Society magazine
An invitation to Sunny Side of the Doc (travel, accommodation and accreditation) to present the film
