Silver Linings wins the Sunny Side of the Doc Prize at Doc Edge Kalkota 2026

The Indian project Silver Linings, directed by Kanishka Sonthalia & Siddesh Shetty and produced by Kopuku Films (India) highlights a culture where ageing is shaped into quiet routine.
We follow seniors across India slip into friendship clubs and speed-dating events to claim love, and the possibility of a new beginning!

The film enters this space between longing and taboo. It is expected for May 2028.

The team wins two free Market Passes for Sunny Side of the Doc 2026, which will take place from June 22 to 24, 2026, in La Rochelle, France.
