Archaelogy of torture with Rafaella Costa & Carla Gallo
En 2025, Rafaella Costa et Carla Gallo se sont rendues au Sunny Side of the Doc et à la première édition du LatAm !
Carla Gallo est la réalisatrice de ce projet & Rafaella Costa est la productrice (Manjericão Filmes Ltda Me) au Brésil.
Un véritable succès puisque ces deux événements ont joué un rôle décisif et crucial dans le développement de leur projet "Archaeaoly of Torture".

LEUR HISTOIRE DEPUIS SES DÉBUTS
Après avoir remporté le prix "Sunny Side" lors de la première édition du LatAm Content Meeting en 2025, la production a voyagé en France pour se rendre au Sunny Side of the Doc dans le cadre de la Sunny Academy Training Program.
QU'EN EST-IL DU PROJET AUJOURD'HUI ?
Le projet a pu trouver une coproduction avec une société Française : Little Big Story.
Grâce à elle, ils ont envisagé d'en faire un long métrage avec une sortie en salles. Finalement, ils ont travaillé pour rendre le projet diffusable à la TV à l'international. Enfin, ils ont décroché un partenariat avec l'INA (Institut National de l’Audiovisuel), le service publique des Archives en France.
Grâce à ce partenariat, ils ont pu choisir toutes les archives disponibles utiles à leur projet dans le cadre d'une offre groupée avantageuse.
Participer au Sunny Side of the Doc était comme découvrir un nouveau monde et ouvrir de nouvelles horizons pour le projet.

Rafaella Costa is the producer (Manjericão Filmes Ltda Me) from Brazil.
It was a real success, as these two events played a special, even decisive role in the future of her project ‘Archaeaoly of Torture’.

THEIR STORY FROM THE BEGINNING
After winning the Sunny Side award at the LatAm Content Meeting in 2025, the production has traveled to France where the project has been selected to be part of the Sunny Academy Training Program.
WHAT ABOUT THE PROJECT NOW?
The project has been able to find a coproduction with the French production company Little Big Story. With them, they have aimed first for a feature length film and a theatrical release. Afterwards, they will work on a TV cut for international sales. Finally, they also have a partnership agreement with INA (Institut National de l’Audiovisuel), the public Archive center.
With this partnership, you can choose any available archives useful for your project with a nice package deal.
Coming to Sunny Side of the Doc was like discovering a new world and opened a lot of new horizons to the project.
