Sergiusz Wasilewski was born 1969 in Lodz, Poland. Director of Photography, Director, Producer, Photographer. I consider myself as a person that constantly look to the future. I was always keen on new discoveries, technology, ideas. Maybe that’s why I decided to study cinematography the technical and advanced side of the film industry. But in the years of experience, I discover myself something. Without looking back at history, there is no rock from which it can be a jump to the stars. Without connections that combine Jacquard textile improvements with Charles Babbage computer, there be no fascinating story, that I could tell in the designing process of multimedia in the Central Museum of Textile in my hometown (Polish Machester – former capital of cotton) I think that congenial curiosity drives me to accompany young students taking risk in solar cars race across Australia. (Racing the Sun 2016) Those particles of information gathering in combined, most fascinating stories reveal a wider picture of knowledge. The knowledge that is so needed now to overcome the trend of praise of stupidity.

Synopsis : The story starts at the beginning of time because we all are made of stardust, with fast information from and how the basic chemical elements came. Then we will look at our times jumping back and forward in time (last 100 years) to show how chemistry change our world. The 8 episode series.
