About me:Jessica embarked on law studies at the Aix-Marseille University in 2011 and quickly decided to focus on copyright and intellectual property issues. A few years later, she obtained her Master’s degree in media law and interned at Havas, which would be decisive in her subsequent career choices. This experience taught her how to secure an audiovisual project in terms of intellectual property. It was also during this internship that she encounteredLe Chaînon Manquant. In addition to the research services it offers, Le Chaînon Manquant provides licensing and rights clearance services, which are what motivated Jessica’s ambitions to join the team. She is now responsible for negotiating with rights holders, beneficiaries, representatives, estates of public figures, etc. in order to enable Le Chaînon Manquant’s clients to integrate the archives they want into their documentary projects.
