The entire sector (authors, directors, producers, broadcasters, platforms, distributors, institutions and foundations, etc.) bears a particular responsibility to become essential actors of change and widely commit to a more equitable future.
In this collective endeavor, Sunny Side of the Doc and PiXii Festival transform in different ways involving:
- content,
- good industry practices,
- and a new event experience.

#StorytellingMatters This conviction will be the central theme to all our market activities, helping bring to light stories which question, engage and impact.
We’ll support the international documentary community who remains stubbornly insistent on pursuing facts through a mode of seeing, investigating and creating that no other art form provides.
Take a look at the real world through the lens of our four core pillars defining the future of storytelling:
- Global Challenges and Cooperation (from Global Pitch to Global Impact)
- Immersive Realities and Engagement (from Story-Living to Augmented Learning)
- Emerging Talent and Access (from Central and Eastern Europe to New Creators)
- Ethical Best Practices and Diversity (from Honest Introspection to Permanent Progress)
