Depuis 35 ans, notre organisation s'engage \u00e0 favoriser un environnement inclusif o\u00f9 tous les participants, ind\u00e9pendamment de leur origine ou de leurs capacit\u00e9s, peuvent pleinement s'engager dans nos programmes et initiatives. Nous croyons que l'accessibilit\u00e9 n'est pas seulement une n\u00e9cessit\u00e9, mais aussi un aspect fondamental pour favoriser la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9, la collaboration et l'innovation au sein de notre communaut\u00e9.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

L'\u00e9tude \"Nonfiction Media Makers with Disabilities\"<\/em>, men\u00e9e par IDA ainsi que notre participation \u00e0 la table ronde \"Advancing Access and Funding for Disabled Makers\"<\/em> \u00e0 l'IDFA en 2023 ont consid\u00e9rablement accru notre sensibilisation \u00e0 l'accessibilit\u00e9 des programmes et au soutien des r\u00e9alisateurs en situation de handicap. Cette collaboration a renforc\u00e9 les liens et a fait na\u00eetre un partenariat solide entre Sunny Side of the Doc et ReelAbilities (New York), avec pour objectif de favoriser des opportunit\u00e9s \u00e9quitables et un acc\u00e8s aux talents en situation de handicap au sein de l'industrie.<\/p>\n

En ce sens, Sunny Side of the Doc s'est associ\u00e9 cette ann\u00e9e \u00e0 ReelAbilities<\/a> <\/strong>(New York) pour offrir de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s de networking et mettre en lumi\u00e8re les talents en situation de handicap. Fond\u00e9 par le Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan en tant que festival de cin\u00e9ma \u00e0 New York en 2007, ReelAbilities a ouvert la voie en tant que premier \u00e9v\u00e9nement du genre, pr\u00e9sentant exclusivement des films r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par et sur des personnes en situation de handicap.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c0 l\u2019occasion de la 16\u00e8me \u00e9dition du ReelAbilities Summit, notre \u00e9quipe a eu le plaisir de r\u00e9compenser deux films documentaires : Sexual Healing<\/strong><\/em> remporte le Sunny Side of the Doc Invitation, incluant deux accr\u00e9ditations gratuites pour Sunny Side of the Doc 2024, et Monstrous Me<\/strong><\/em> remporte le prix sp\u00e9cial incluant deux accr\u00e9ditations gratuites ainsi qu'une bourse de 500 \u20ac destin\u00e9e \u00e0 couvrir les frais de d\u00e9placement \u00e0 Sunny Side of the Doc 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

ReelAbilities apportera \u00e9galement son expertise lors de Sunny Side of the Doc 2024<\/strong>, en participant activement \u00e0 notre programme Ask the Experts. Cette ann\u00e9e, les participants de Sunny Side of the Doc auront l'occasion unique de r\u00e9server des consultations de 20 minutes avec un expert de ReelAbilities pour discuter de l'inclusion et de l'\u00e9quit\u00e9 des personnes en situation de handicap dans le cin\u00e9ma.<\/span><\/p>\n
