Dans un secteur en pleine recomposition, o\u00f9 concentrez-vous vos efforts strat\u00e9giques \u00e0 l\u2019international et avec quels objectifs ?<\/p>\n

Le groupe CANAL+ a chang\u00e9 de dimension avec l\u2019acquisition de MultiChoice, premi\u00e8re plateforme de divertissement en Afrique. Il compte d\u00e9sormais plus de 40 millions d\u2019abonn\u00e9s dans le monde et op\u00e8re dans plus de 70 pays, en Europe, en Afrique et en Asie. Les documentaires accompagnent cette strat\u00e9gie internationale en d\u00e9veloppant \u00e0 la fois des contenus propres \u00e0 chaque territoire, et de plus en plus des contenus multi-pays ou mondiaux qui ont vocation \u00e0 \u00eatre diffus\u00e9s sur l\u2019ensemble des territoires du groupe. Certains th\u00e8mes se pr\u00eatent particuli\u00e8rement \u00e0 ces projets internationaux, comme les documentaires sur les sports mondiaux (comme le football ou la F1 par exemple), certains th\u00e8mes historiques, des sujets g\u00e9opolitiques, ou encore des histoires contemporaines dont l\u2019action se d\u00e9roule dans plusieurs pays.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pour la recherche de programmes, nous travaillons avec des producteurs fran\u00e7ais bien entendu, mais nous r\u00e9alisons \u00e9galement un grand nombre d\u2019acquisitions de documentaires internationaux.<\/span><\/p>\n

2\/ Ce qui change vos d\u00e9cisions<\/b><\/h3>\n

Quel est le changement (\u00e9ditorial, technologique ou de march\u00e9) qui transforme le plus votre fa\u00e7on de s\u00e9lectionner un projet documentaire aujourd'hui et comment ?<\/p>\n

Notre mode de s\u00e9lection repose toujours sur la force du r\u00e9cit, de l\u2019histoire et des personnages d\u2019une part, et l\u2019excellence de production et de r\u00e9alisation d\u2019autre part. Ce sont les exigences au c\u0153ur de l\u2019ADN de CANAL+ pour tous nos contenus. Les outils technologiques ou les modes de production pour atteindre cette excellence peuvent changer, mais les crit\u00e8res fondamentaux demeurent les m\u00eames.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u2019un point de vue de march\u00e9, le changement principal est l\u2019internationalisation du groupe, qui pour certains programmes nous am\u00e8ne \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir au potentiel du documentaire dans l\u2019ensemble des territoires de CANAL+.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

3\/ Nouvelles collaborations<\/b><\/h3>\n

Le th\u00e8me du Sunny Side of the Doc 2026 \"The Right Move \/ Le Bon \u00c9lan\" invite \u00e0 enclencher de nouvelles alliances. Quel type de partenaire venez-vous chercher \u00e0 La Rochelle et que vous n\u2019avez pas encore trouv\u00e9 ?<\/p>\n

Pour nous, le Sunny Side est un forum particuli\u00e8rement utile et pertinent pour renforcer ou nouer de nouvelles relations avec des producteurs, des r\u00e9alisateurs ou des distributeurs de documentaires. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, plusieurs de nos projets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9s sur la base d\u2019\u00e9changes entam\u00e9s au Sunny Side, pour certains avec des producteurs ou r\u00e9alisateurs avec qui nous n\u2019avions pas ou peu travaill\u00e9 par le pass\u00e9. Continuer \u00e0 construire ces partenariats avec les talents du documentaire est bien entendu fondamental pour CANAL+.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
