Next stage: Sunny Side of the Doc, 24-27 June 2019, La Rochelle

A real chance to make their project crossing borders :

Cecilie Bjørnaraa: “Of course we are extremely happy and we are looking very much forward to going to the Sunny Side of the Doc, pitch our project again there, get new collaborations, and meet potential distributors for the film too in order to make it travel abroad, as much as possible.”

The project tells the story of a unique invention from East Berlin, – the birth, life, death and resurrection of The Subharchord, an early synthesizer that was invented in order to create “the sound of
the future”. It will also compete for the Best Arts, Culture & Heritage Pitch in La Rochelle.

The marketplace for Arts and Culture documentaries is constantly evolving according to Yves Jeanneau:

There are very few slots on TV and Sunny Side of the Doc is mostly a factual TV market. Mostly, but not only, and the shift towards digital platforms and location-based venues is wel underway. And because of that change, the timing was right to team up with IMZ and create new global opportunities for music, performing arts films.”

A unique occasion to present yourself and your high-quality productions to 2.000 factual content professionals from 50 countries in attendance at Sunny Side of the Doc, the internally renowned market place for documentaries and narrative experiences.
