2020 Pitch Selection

Discover the 42 original projects from about 17 different countries that will be pitched online for funding and industry leaders’ insight at Sunny Side of the Doc 2020 Connected Edition.

This is our way to beat the crisis and bring to the forefront the independent vision, dedication and creativity of international storytellers!

Selections at the international marketplace and pitching forum running on 22nd – 25th June, include 42 standout concepts for documentary and non-fiction media from 17 countries.
Six thematic pitching sessions supported by our sponsors – PBS International (History), Knowledge Network (Science), RTBF (Social Issues), West Lake International Documentary Festival (Arts & Culture), Love Nature (Wildlife) and INA (Digital Experiences) – will showcase the best in original factual projects in their phase of development or production in front of key commissioners and buyers connected from across the world.

Pitch mentoring and tailored one-to-one meetings will be arranged by our team and surely stimulate more finance pledges online.
