A four-day co-production and networking Rendezvous event between Latin America and Europe, with a strong North American delegation. Doc Buenos Aires/Latin Side will gather Producers and Decision Makers from both sides of the Atlantic to share their experiences and mutual needs, build up a strong international documentary filmmaking network, and initiate international co-production projects.

The two first editions welcomed more than 600 participants. Doc Buenos Aires and Sunny Side of the Doc are joining forces again to organize the 3rd Doc Buenos Aires / Latin Side from 6 to 8 December 2011 in Buenos Aires, with the support of MEDIA Mundus.

DOC BUENOS AIRES / LATIN SIDE OF THE DOC is:

Pitch sessions with 24 projects selected from the registered projects (12 European projects / 12 Latin American projects). The projects will be pitched to Decision Makers from both continents - the main television channels, whether terrestrial, TNT or cable/satellite, as well as certain cinema or other screen distributors. The main purpose is to discuss the narrative and aesthetic aspects of each project according to the financing opportunities for both Markets.
Panels, Case studies, breakfasts, lunches, social events to help individual recognitions, networking and co-production development.
Side by Side: private one-to-one meetings between producers and decisions makers.
Catalogue / Website: the registered projects and the projects for the pitch sessions will be presented in the catalogue given to all participants. The producers’ details will be in the Who’s who section.
