Sunny Side of the Doc’s international development officer, Irem Couchouron is stepping down after six years to join the first international Science Film Festival SILBERSALZ in Halle/Saale (Germany) as Head of Film and Exhibition starting from December 7, 2017 .

Her new role was announced last week by Documentary Campus e.V. and Robert Bosch Stiftung, which will be hosting SILBERSALZ from June 28 – July 1, 2018.

We warmly thank Irem for all her hard work and wish her great success in her future endeavors.

“It has been an amazing ride and I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with so many brilliant and talented people who deliver amazing work, and have made me laugh every single day.  A new creative challenge starts for me and I am looking forward to working with science producers, artists and creators, scouting amazing films and experiences, and spending more time actually watching films!”
